Jefferson TX Weekend Trip

We will be leaving at 8 am from the Grand Casino in Shawnee Friday morning.  We will stop inTalimina for lunch and then continue down to Jefferson TX.  Heading back on Sunday.  So far there are 4 couples attending.  We are staying at the Carriage House Bed & Breakfast in Jefferson Friday, Saturday night.  There are still rooms available for those who would like to join us or choose your own lodging.  Pretty and very quiet city,  there are many bed and breakfasts, cottages and hotels to choose from in Jefferson.    (Places to Stay)

Drives will be planned around the lakes on Saturday and possible Sunday morning.  Jefferson has lots of shopping downtown, museums, tours, a winery and tons of restaurants, coffee/ice cream/goodie shops.  

If anyone cannot make the whole weekend, you might plan to drive with us as far as Talimina!
